Transportation has become more complicated and expensive than ever before. The excessive price increases from the 2018 capacity crunch and the increasing Client service level demands have added layers of complexity to our industry. Adding to this is the on-going push by the Carriers and Digital Freight Forwarders towards “no touch” TMS platforms that is making LTL and FTL transportation modes more automated yet less informed.

Founded in 2008 by Eric and Mary Rhea, Freight Trac embarked on a path of partnership with it’s Clients. We embrace industry leading technology to our advantage. We believe transportation is “hand on” with a focus on Customer Service and accountable Carrier performance. As a staff we bring decades of logistics experience across all modes of transportation. We utilize this experience to create transportation solutions that will meet and exceed our Client’s and their Customer’s expectations.

We understand that by our thorough involvement in our Customer’s transportation solution Freight Trac becomes an extension of that very same busienss.

Success Story

One of our manufacturing Clients won a large contractual bid. The challenge was to move raw material and parts from hundreds of suppliers into their facility to meet strict production deadlines.

Through open partnership with multiple vendor supply chain managers we have successfully moved 1,076 loads through both LTL and FTL modes with a on-time percentage 98.7% and a claims ratio of .04%. Throughout the life of the ongoing project we have consistently delivered value added services while saving the Client transportation costs.
